No tolerance for anti-state elements in Balochistan: Rind
April 02, 2025

Balochistan government spokesman Shahid Rind has said that anti-state elements want to disrupt the development process in the province, but they will never succeed in their nefarious designs.

Speaking at a news conference along with DIG CTD Aitzaz Goraya and Deputy Commissioner Quetta Saad Bin Asad in Quetta today, he said the government is ready to negotiate with all stakeholders, and a dialogue process is underway with Sardar Akhtar Mengal regarding the Mastung sit-in.

Replying to a query, he said that internet and cellular services have been suspended in Quetta due to security threats.

The DIG CTD said that during the Baloch Yakjehti Committee’s protest in Quetta, protesters set fire to several police vehicles, a post office, and dozens of CCTV cameras installed under the Safe City Project.

He said that the Baloch Yakjehti Committee is not a registered organization.

He further said that BYC is spreading propaganda against the state and institutions on social media platforms.
