President Asif Ali Zardari has contracted COVID-19 and has been advised to observe quarantine.

His personal physician, Dr. Asim Hussain, confirmed the diagnosis after conducting various tests.

He said that a team of experts is caring for the President and his condition is improving.

Meanwhile, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori telephoned the physician of President Asif Ali Zardari and inquire after his health.

He also prayed for recuperation of the President and expressed his best wishes for him.
