Minister for Climate Change Senator Sherry Rehman has urged the international conventions on hazardous management to gauge and guide the capacities of the countries authorized to recycle perilous materials.    

She was addressing during her participation in Stockholm +50 international meeting.

Sherry Rehman said the waste management is one of the challenges that should not need a moral imperative behind it.

She said that in short hand, National Action Plans need to be aligned better with these conventions and the world should come out of global, national, provincial and municipal and institutional silos.

The conference will discuss ways to ensure implementation of the Stockholm plus 50 Conventions and tackle the current climate catastrophe.
