Scientists identify new liver and kidney disease
June 02, 2022

Scientists have identified a novel inherited disease, TULP3-related ciliopathy that causes kidney and liver failure in children and adults. They have found a faulty gene that acts as catalyst in increasing fibrosis in liver and kidney, resulting in their failure.

The findings would help them give patients a precise diagnosis which would facilitate relevant treatment for best possible results.
