The First book of Radio Pakistan’s Deputy Controller News, Sajjad Parvez titled “22 LOG” has been published by Islamia University, Bahawalpur.
Sajjad Parvez conducted these interviews for Radio Pakistan during the last two decades which are now part of its Archives.
This colorful pictorial book “22 LOG” consists of twenty-two exclusive interviews of renowned national personalities belonging to different walks of life.
They include Dr. Asif Farrukhi, Asif Noorani, Prof Dr Ather Mahboob, Iftikhar Arif, Amin Gulgee, Intizar Hussain, Anwar Maqsood, A. Hameed, Pathaney Khan, Raza Ali Abidi, Zahida Hina, Zahra Nigah, Saleema Hashmi, Shakil Adilzada, Zia Mohyeddin, Abdullah Hussain, Aqeel Abbas Jafferi, Fehmida Riaz, Musarrat Kalanchvi, Cartoonist MAXIM, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Wajahat Masood.
The whole project of printing and publishing of this book was supervised by Vice Chancellor Islamia University, Bahawalpur Prof Dr Ather Mahboob ( Tamgha-i-Imtiaz) who termed the publication of book “22 LOG” as unique in the university’s history and also expressed the hope that this book will considered as profile based reference book for not only literary fraternity of the country but also for students belongs to arts, literature and mass communication faculties of different universities of the country.
He also lauded the services of Radio Pakistan as the country's oldest and biggest broadcasting institution for the promotion of education, entertainment and information across the country.
Renowned columnist and anchorperson Sohail Warraich termed the book “22 LOG” as trend setter in the Urdu literature as very few books on such themes are available in the past in the country.
Senior Writer and Editor of Country’s widely read and circulated Urdu Digest “SUBRANG” termed “22 LOG” as country’s first Urdu Coffee Table Book.
