Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad has said the world scenario is changing after Taliban's takeover in Afghanistan, and Pakistan is playing a key role for peace and stability in the region.
Talking to a private television channel, he said Pakistan imparted education to Afghan people and played constructive role as compared to neighboring country India.
He said the image of India has badly been damaged due to funding to terrorist organizations in Afghanistan.
Sheikh Rashid said the unprecedented role of Pakistan Army played in war against terror and other calamities is being acknowledged around the globe.
Replying to a question about the long march being planned by the PDM, he said the Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz should desist from such activity because of the crucial role being played by Pakistan in coming days.
He said political parties in Pakistan Democratic Movement do not have a good immage in the masses for their politics of long march.
