A new report says the Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian regime is trampling basic principles of press freedom and the Press freedom has been declining since Modi rose to power in 2014.

A report released by Kashmir Media Service, said lawsuits, killings and intimidation of journalists is a common feature in Modi’s .

It said India under Modi has passed laws to impact press freedom and those journalists who don’t toe Bharatiya Janata Party’s line.

The report said India, continues to slide down the World Press Freedom Index and it has slipped in rank from 140 to 150 in the World Press Freedom Index of 180 countries.
