Anti-Taliban armed groups, including Afghanistan United Front, National Independence Front and Afghanistan Green Trend, have claimed attacks in various parts of Afghanistan.

According to Afghanistan United Front, a Taliban intelligence officer and a governor’s bodyguard were killed, while eight personnel were seriously injured in targeted operations in Kandahar and Ghor.

The National Independence Front claimed that a rocket attack on a Taliban checkpoint in Aryob Zazi district of Paktia province killed seven personnel and destroyed several posts.

Meanwhile, Afghanistan Green Trend claimed responsibility for destroying two Taliban Ranger vehicles in Panjshir and killing intelligence officer Mullah Abdul Rahman in Kapisa.
