Kashmir Day was observed today to express solidarity with the oppressed people of Indian occupied Kashmir.
Exhibitions and photo competitions on Kashmir issue were held across the country, including in Islamabad, provincial capitals, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.
Those working in the government departments wore black arm bands entitled "I am Kashmir" to convey the message that Pakistan fully stands by their Kashmiri brethren.
In Dera Ghazi Khan, a rally was taken out from Hotel Chowk to express solidarity with Kashmiri people and condemn Indian brutalities in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
A large number of people from various walks of life, including official of district administration, students and civil society attended the rally.

Speakers on the occasion urged the world powers to play their role in ending curfew in the occupied Kashmir.
Kashmir Solidarity rallies were also held in Rajan Pur.
Thousands of people including students gathered at different places in district Sialkot today to express solidarity with Kashmiris.
After Juma prayers, they offered special prayers for freedom of occupied Kashmir from India.
They were carrying flags of Pakistan and AJK, chanting anti-India slogans and demanding freedom of Kashmir from Indian rule.
