Caretaker Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Azam Khan today inaugurated the Institute of Mental Health Sciences in Peshawar.
The institute constructed at a cost of more than two point five billion rupees will provide emergency, OPD, psychiatric, family counseling, ICU and other health facilities to the patients.
Speaking on the occasion, Muhammad Azam Khan termed the establishment of Mental Health Institute as a milestone in provision of healthcare facilities to psychiatric patients.
He said the institute will also provide cure and rehabilitation facilities to the drug addicts.
