Advocating proactive measures in flood-prone areas to prevent escalating climate impacts, she urged major emitters to honour their Internationally Determined Contributions.

Sherry Rehman emphasized that climate financing for the Global South should be directed towards on-ground adaptation initiatives not just reporting.
