Secretary-General of the Developing-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation, Ambassador Sohail Mahmood, has called for stronger cooperation among member states to develop resilient health systems and ensure access to affordable and sustainable healthcare.

Addressing the opening ceremony of the 12th Turkish Medical World Congress in Istanbul, Türkiye, he underlined the importance of health cooperation within the D-8 framework and highlighted the complementary strengths of D-8 Member States.
