The forty-fourth death anniversary of the music composer, Shaukat Ali Nashad was observed on Friday.
He was born in Delhi, British India, on 11th July 1923.
Shaukat Ali Nashad, through his father Ghulam Hussain Khan, delved into the intricacies of the music.

Between 1964 and 1980, Shaukat Ali Nashad composed more than four hundred songs for over sixty-three Pakistani films.
Shaukat Ali Nashad passed away on this day in 1981 and he rests in eternal peace in Lahore.
