Peshawar High Court has postponed the by-elections of the National Assembly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and suspended the election schedule.

A two-member bench comprising Justice Syed Atique Shah and Justice Syed Arshad Ali on Friday announced the verdict in the case related to the resignations of PTI members of the National Assembly.

The court suspended the election schedule for the by-elections to be held on March 16 and 19. The court has adjourned further hearing of the case till March Tuesday next while issuing notice to the parties.

It should be noted that by-elections were to be held on 24 seats of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
