Chief Secretary Gilgit Baltistan Abrar Ahmad Mirza visited Gilgit Baltistan Disaster Management Authority Headquarter Gilgit along with Secretary Home GB Syed Asghar Ali.

The Chief Secretary also visited warehouses of GBDMA and inspected the available stock there. He expressed satisfaction regarding preparedness of GBDMA  in the wake of any eventuality and instructed to develop robust linkages with the donor agencies and NDMA to meet the requirements.

On the occasion DG GBDMA Safdar Ali Khan briefed the Chief Secretary regarding the operational activities of GBDMA and apprised him about the future plans and operations of GBDMA.

DG GBDMA also shared future plans of the department with regard to disposal and replenishing of various essential items in collaboration with district administration.
