Rain and Snowfall continued in Murree today, and there are chances of continuation of similar weather during the next twenty four hours.

According to spokesman of Provincial Disaster Management Authority, snowfall upto three inches was recorded in Murree.

In this regard, Director General of PDMA, Irfan Ali Kathia said snow is being removed from roads.

Meanwhile, Relief Commissioner Punjab Nabeel Javed has directed the Murree administration to remain alert.

He said that thirteen Facilitation Centers are functional in Murree to guide tourists.

He urged citizens to leave on journey after checking weather conditions.

He asked people to remain careful and avoid unnecessary travelling.

Relief Commissioner Punjab said that the PDMA helpline 1129 can be contacted in case of any emergency.
