Russia has announced that it will deploy tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus near borders of NATO countries to ensure its security.

In an interview, Russian envoy to Belarus Boris Gryzlov said the weapons would be moved to the country’s western border despite oppoistion of Europe and the United States.

Meanwhile, Chief of Russia's Wagner Group Yevgeny Prigozhin has claimed legal control of Bakhmut city in Ukraine.

In an audio message today, he said his troops have raised a Russian flag on administrative building of the city.
