The Afghan Interim government says it has completed the technical work of the TAPI gas pipeline project and there is no obstacle its implementation.
Speaking at a news conference in Kabul, Afghanistan's Deputy Minister of Mines and Petroleum Zia Rahman Aryoubi said work is underway on land acquisition for the project in Herat province.
He said more than 400 mining areas have been surveyed in various provinces, while 70 to 80 mines have been put up for bidding.
