In India, a powerful Cyclone Fani hit in eastern parts of India on Friday morning.

The Indian meteorological department is predicting Fani will hit the coast near the Hindu holy city of Puri by about 04:00 GMT in Odisha.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said an estimated ten thousand villages and fifty two  towns in Odisha will comein the path of the cyclone.

 He state government of Odisha has evacuated more than a million people in the past 24 hours.
