
Iran has once again acknowledged and appreciated Pakistan's positive role during the recent war in the region.
The acknowledgment was made by Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Dr Reza Amiri Moghadam during meeting with Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi in Islamabad today.
The Governor underscored the need to end the Iran-US war for lasting peace in the region.
He reiterated Pakistan's desire for peace and its readiness to work for it.
The Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa highlighted the vast potential for economic development in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with Iran's cooperation.
He also underscored the need for mutual exchanges and visits of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's trade and parliamentary delegations to Iran.
The Iranian Ambassador said Iran's trade with Pakistan in oil and other goods will increase in the future.
He said Israel is the biggest obstacle in the way of peace.
