
'Pur Azm Pakistan' national youth program was launched in Islamabad today, aimed at empowering the youth through access to opportunities, skills and digital pathways for development.
Addressing the launching ceremony, Chairman Prime Minister's Youth Programme Rana Mashood Ahmed Khan said the program seeks to engage youth in art, culture, science, technology, IT and sports.
He said the government is fully committed to equipping the young generation with the necessary skills to progress in the digital age.
Rana Mashood said 'Countries of Destination' program has also been started, targeting the demanded skills and opportunities for our youth in different countries of the world.
He also highlighted the Digital Youth Hub program to provide employment and scholarship opportunities for the youth. He said so far over 800,000 youngsters have got themselves registered on the Hub.
Rana Mashood said Prime Minister Youth Development Centers have also been set up in about 63 different universities, and this year 103 more universities will be added to the list.
He said 33 MoUs have been signed with different universities of China for state of the art training of youth.
