The government has been continuing crackdown against smuggling.

Since September last year,  3208 metric tons of fertilizer, 281 metric tons of flour, 34665 metric tons of sugar, 314915 cigarette stocks, 149550 cloth bags and 6.747 million liters of Iranian oil have been recovered.
