Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz parliamentary leader in the Senate and spokesperson for the government's negotiation committee, Irfan Siddiqui has expressed concerns over the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's failure to present their demands in written form despite earlier commitments.

In an interview with a private television channel, he said that if PTI does not submit its demands in writing as promised, the negotiation process may face serious hurdles. He said even after 12 days, no significant progress has been made.

Irfan Siddiqui highlighted that the government had facilitated PTI's negotiation team by arranging meetings with party's founding chairman, as requested.

However, PTI remains indecisive about formalizing their demands, despite assurances made in joint declarations.

He said PTI requested another opportunity to consult with PTI's founding chairman and finalize their demands, which the government agreed to.

However, if the written demands are not presented in the third meeting, the negotiations could face significant setbacks.

He said the date for the third negotiation meeting would be decided by PTI.
