Economic Coordination Committee has approved funds worth eight hundred and thirty three million rupees for Pakistan Machine Tool Factory to pay salaries and retirement benefits of employees. 

The meeting of ECC is underway in Islamabad with Finance Minister Asad Umar in the chair.

The ECC was given a detailed briefing by Board of Investment on matters related to Special Economic Zones in the country.

The meeting directed Power Division and Petroleum Division to submit plan to ECC within next thirty days regarding electricity/gas requirements of Special Economic Zones and Industrial Parks.
