Kashmir Solidarity Day will be observed on Friday to express whole hearted support of Pakistani nation to the just struggle of Kashmiri people for their inalienable right to self-determination under the UN resolutions.
The day will also be marked to expose worst ever oppression perpetrated by India against Kashmiris in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K).
On the occasion, Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan will address a public gathering at Kotli in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
One minute silence will be observed at 10:00 am across the country.
Solidarity walks will be arranged in Islamabad, Muzaffarabad, Gilgit and four provincial headquarters.
Human chains will be formed at Kohala and other important points linking Pakistan and Azad Kashmir.
Radio Pakistan, Pakistan Television and private channels will broadcast special programme to express solidarity with the oppressed Kashmiris of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
PUNJAB
In Punjab, several government departments will hold Kashmir rallies and gatherings at Divisional, District and Tehsil level.
Punjab Chief Minister, Sardar Usman Buzdar has appealed to public to actively participate in these rallies and gatherings.
He said that these rallies will give a clear message to the Modi Government that Kashmir belongs to Pakistan and always remains so.
In Provincial Capital Lahore, major and small political parties besides several social, academic and non-governmental organizations are also finalizing their arrangements to hold Kashmir rallies and gatherings.
GILGIT-BALTISTAN
In Gilgit-Baltistan, protest rallies will be organized in all districts of three divisions to condemn state terrorism and brutalities of Modi government against Kashmiri people.
In Gilgit, main protest rally will start from Benazir Chowk which passing through main bazar will convert into a public gathering at Attihad Chowck in the city.
