Minister for Religious Affairs, Chaudhry Salik Hussain has said the government is ready to provide all possible support for the provision of modern education in Madaris.

Speaking to the media during his visit to Jamia Muhammadia in Islamabad, he emphasized the importance of organizing courses within religious schools that enable students to receive training in various professions alongside their religious education.

Chaudhry Salik Hussain stated that the educational and examination system of Wafaq-ul-Madaris is aligned with international standards and serves as a role model for educational institutions.

He highlighted that seminaries, mosques, and scholars have played a fundamental and key role in the promotion and spread of Islam.

He said Madaris are also among the largest NGOs in the world, providing not only free education and training to millions of students but also offering them accommodation, food, and medical facilities.
