Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan congratulated Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on his election as Prime Minister.

In a telephonic conversation, both leaders expressed desire and commitment to work closely with each other to take bilateral relationship to unprecedented heights of cooperation and fraternity.

They also exchanged views on worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza and reaffirmed their commitment for solution in line with relevant United Nations and OIC resolutions.
