The second phase of Polio vaccination drive has started in 12 districts of Balochistan and 26 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

During the five-day campaign, more than 4.12 million children will be vaccinated in both provinces.

Official sources said the first phase of polio vaccination campaign was very successful during which more than 17.41 million children were immunized in Sindh and Punjab provinces.

The vaccination campaign was divided in two phases due to the concurring activities of seventh national census.
