People across various segments of society are continuing to hail the recent cut in electricity prices.

In this connection, Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan leader Dr Farooq Sattar termed it as a major relief package to reduce the burden on citizens.

Ex-President Sarhad Chamber of Commerce & Industry Fawad Ishaq, while talking to Radio Pakistan, said the decision will boost industrial development in the country.

President Tajir Itihad Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mujeeb-ur-Rehman called for negotiations with Independent Power Producers to further reduction in electricity prices.
