Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed that the payment method used for Ramadan Relief Package be replicated in other government schemes.

He was chairing a reviewing meeting regarding Ramadan Relief Package in Islamabad today.

The Prime Minister highlighted that for the first time, a digital wallet was introduced for the Ramadan Relief Package, enabling a transparent and easy process for distributing funds to the deserving families.

The Prime Minister appreciated the efforts of State Bank of Pakistan, BISP, PTA, NADRA and other departments in ensuring the transparency of Ramadan Relief Package.

The meeting was informed that 1.9 million digital payments were made under Ramadan Relief Package.
