Famous boxer Amir Khan has been awarded with the honorary rank of captain for a day by the Pakistan Army in recognition of his achievements in the field of boxing

On this occasion, Boxer Aamir Khan said Pakistan Army has always played an important role in the promotion of sports.

He said that he would continue to play his role for the promotion of sports in Pakistan.

He also expressed his intention to open more boxing academies in Pakistan to train young boxers.
