Minister for Narcotics Control Brig (Retd) Ijaz Ahmad Shah has said that establishment of Baba Guru Nanak University in Nankana Sahib will bring development and prosperity in the area.
He expressed these views at a ceremony after laying the foundation stone of academic block at the University which would be constructed at a cost of 200 million rupees.
The Minister for Narcotics Control said the new block would have rooms for curriculum activities besides offices for administrative affairs.
Brig (Retd) Ijaz Shah said that Phase-I of Baba Guru Nanak University will be completed at a cost of 2.15 billion rupees while the entire project would be completed at a cost of 8 billion rupees.
