Pakistan-India Peoples’ Forum for Peace and Democracy has urged the Indian government to respond positively to PTI Chairman Imran Khan's statement about improvement in bilateral relations.

The Forum welcomed victory speech of Pakistan Prime Minister-in-waiting in which he said that Pakistan and India should resolve issue through dialogue. 

The forum said the statement of Pakistani leader is significant particularly in the context that India and Pakistan relationship has reached its all-time low in recent years with no bilateral talks taking place.

The statement said an unconditional and open dialogue, is the only way forward.
