The Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi says Azad Kashmir would be made a developed region in line with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Talking to Senior Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas in Muzaffarabad today [Thursday], he said mega Development Package for Azad Kashmir will bring development and prosperity to the region and create employment opportunities for the people of the state.

Abdul Qayyum Niazi said Tourism will be given status as an industry to put the region on the path of development and prosperity.

He said the potential of Tourism and Hydel will be utilized to enhance the revenue of Azad Kashmir.

Meanwhile, Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi chaired a meeting of the Coordination Council for Local Government and Rural Development in Muzaffarabad.

Secretary Local Government Ijaz Munir briefed the Prime Minister about the ongoing projects.
