Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi says the government has taken possession of One Constitution Avenue, which will soon be converted into a five-star hotel, upholding its original purpose.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad today, he expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for his full cooperation in resolving issues concerning One Constitution Avenue.

The Minister further said the government is committed to retrieving state land and clearing all encroachments in the Federal Capital soon.

Mohsin Naqvi said 1,000 acres of land adjacent to the Prime Minister's House and land belonging to Safari Park have been recovered, while the process of retrieving land in Sectors E-12, C-14, C-15, and C-16 is underway.
