Controller News Liaquat Saeed is getting retired from Radio Pakistan today after rendering around 33 years of meritorious service in Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation.
Radio Pakistan's News staff arranged a farewell luncheon in honour of the outgoing Controller in Islamabad today.
Speaking on the occasion, Director News and Current Affairs Abdul Hadi Mayar said Liaquat Saeed remained a diligent and a committed officer throughout his career. He also presented a bouquet and souvenir to the outgoing controller.
The colleagues presented a standing ovation to the outgoing controller.
Liaquat Saeed joined Radio Pakistan in 1988 and served in Monitoring section of Radio Pakistan and headed news units at PBC Gilgit and Abbottabad. He also supervised main and regional bulletins of the Radio Pakistan.
