Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal inaugurated the construction of a link road connecting railway station to Sialkot Phatak in Narowal city today.
The 1.5 kilometer long road, costing 200 million rupees, will be completed in five months. The project also includes the widening and improvement of the sewerage system.
This new road will help alleviate traffic congestion around the Narowal Railway Station and will also provide better access for Sikh pilgrims traveling to Kartarpur.
Speaking on the occasion, Ahsan Iqbal said this project will increase commercial activities in Narowal and bring prosperity to the area.
