President Arif Alvi inaugurated Jammu and Kashmir monument, constructed in memory of Kashmiri martyrs and their struggle, in Muzaffarabad on Saturday.
The President and the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir and Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, President Arif Alvi said this monument will help our future generations remember the sacrifices rendered by the Kashmiri people.
He said we will always remember the struggle and the sacrifices of Kashmiri people. He said Pakistan's history is incomplete until the liberation of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The President regretted that the promises made with the Kashmiris regarding their right to self-determination were not fulfilled by the international community.
He however said no power can stop the Kashmiris from getting freedom from the cruel Indian clutches.
He said Modi government is setting India on fire by pursuing hate based Hindutva policy.
Addressing All Pakistan Kashmir Solidarity Mushaira in Islamabad this evening, President Dr Arif Alvi said Pakistan will continue its efforts for promoting peace and stability in the region.
He said that India cannot snatch by-birth freedom of innocent Kashmiris in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir by suppressing their voice.
Dr. Arif Alvi regretted that Modi government has turned the Occupied valley into one of the biggest prisons of the world to accomplish its nefarious agenda.
