Many countries of the world including Arab states have reacted sharply over the US President Donald Trump's proposed plan for the Gaza Strip.

According to the proposed plan, President Trump hinted to take over the Gaza Strip after resettling Palestinians elsewhere.

Russia, China, Spain, Australia, Ireland and the United Kingdom in their immediate response vowed to continue supporting the two-state solution.

France said the proposed plan involves risks of destabilizing the Middle East.

Turkey has called the plan 'unacceptable'.

Executive Director of Amnesty International, Paul O'Brien said removing all Palestinians from Gaza is 'tantamount to destroying them'.

Meanwhile, massive protests have been staged in Washington against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to the White House.
