Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal says peace and harmony, political stability and continuity of policies are pre-requisites for the progress and development of country.
Addressing a ceremony in Rawalpindi today, he said that government is pursuing the agenda of reforms as this the modern era requirement.
The Minister said that URAAN Pakistan program envisages export led growth as government is working to supplement the volume of exports by following the framework adopted by regional peers.
Ahsan Iqbal also highlighted the importance of tax collection and reduction in the energy prices and said that Pakistan can be financially independent by raising the volume of tax collection and production of low cost energy.
