Eritrean forces have started withdrawing from the Tigray region of Ethiopia after an agreement between Ethiopian government and rival group in the region.
The Eritrean troops had crossed the border when provoked by the Tigray People’s Liberation Front, Ethiopia’s main foes in the conflict.
Thousands of people have been killed in the conflict, hundreds of thousands have been forced from their homes and there are shortages of food, water and medicine in the region.
