Minister for Information and Broadcasting  Attaullah Tarar has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of former Secretary Information, Khawaja Ijaz Sarwar.

Commiserating with the bereaved family, he prayed for the departed soul.

The Information Minister said Khawaja Ijaz Sarwar was a dignified, sincere and experienced personality who played a pivotal role in the development of the field of information and the effective representation of the national narrative.
