Pakistan conducts successful launch of FATAH series missile

Pakistan today conducted a successful training launch of a FATAH Series surface-to-surface missile with a range of 120 kilometers as part of ongoing Exercise INDUS.

The launch was aimed at ensuring the operational readiness of troops and validating key technical parameters, including the missile’s advanced navigation system and enhanced accuracy.

The training launch was witnessed by senior officers of Pakistan Army, as well as officers, scientists and engineers from Pakistan’s strategic organizations.

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and the Chief of Army Staff extended their congratulations to the participating troops, scientists and engineers. They expressed complete confidence in the operational preparedness and technical proficiency of Pakistan Army to thwart any aggression against the territorial integrity of Pakistan.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have commended Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Army Chief and the scientists and engineers over the successful training launch of the surface-to-surface Fatah missile.

In his statement, the President reaffirmed the national resolve to ensure the security and defence of the country.

The Prime Minister said the success of the training launch clearly demonstrates that Pakistan's defence is in strong and capable hands.

He expressed satisfaction over the professionalism of the Armed Forces and their full preparedness for the defence of the country.
