Islamabad Police have arrested the accused involved in the martyrdom of Pakistan Air Force Group Captain Asim Tariq during a tragic incident in Islamabad.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad tonight, Inspector General of Islamabad Police Ali Nasir Rizvi said the accused, Saad Abbasi, was traced and arrested using the latest technology, including AI cameras, which identified his motorcycle and clothing.

He said the incident occurred when the Group Captain intervened after seeing the suspect trying to forcibly take a woman with him on Ninth Avenue in Islamabad.

Ali Nasir Rizvi said all legal requirements will be fulfilled and the case will be taken to its logical conclusion.
