The World Bank has appreciated Pakistan's program for poverty alleviation and social security terming it as a unique and major program in the world.
Talking to Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad today (Thursday), World Bank's Vice President for the South Asia Hartwig Schafer hoped that Kamyab Pakistan program would also be an ideal one of its kind.
He said not only the World Bank but the whole world is appreciative of Pakistan's Ehsaas Program and gives examples.
Hartwig Schafer said the government's economic reforms and smart lockdown policy during COVID are also commendable.
The Prime Minister, on the occasion, thanked the World Bank for its cooperation with Pakistan in difficult times and said provision of economic protection to the poor segment of society is one of the top priorities of the government.
