Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has asked concerned authorities to make all possible efforts for rehabilitation of the flood-affected people in Dera Ghazi Khan and Rajanpur.

Addressing the flood-affected people in Kot Chutta, Dera Ghazi Khan on Friday, he assured that construction of their house and compensation of their crops would be given priority.

The Prime Minister said both the federal and provincial governments are working for relief of the affected families.

He said NDMA and provincial authorities will carry out a joint survey to assess the damage to crops to enable the government to pay compensation transparently.
