Prime Minister's Special Assistant Attaullah Tarar has rejected the impression that amendments in the National Accountability Bureau law were made to benefit PML-N or other leaders of the coalition parties.

Talking to media in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said we have faced NAB and all the leaders of PML-N, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Khawaja Saad Rafiq, as well as PPP leader Faryal Talpur were granted bails on merit.

The Special Assistant said amendments in the NAB law were made to improve the system.
