Palestine has urged international community to fulfill its historic and legal responsibility to put an end to Israeli occupation of its lands.
Speaking at a general debate on human rights situation in Palestine and other occupied Arab territories in the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, Palestinian representative said the Israeli occupation practices are becoming more ferocious and barbaric.
He said thousands of Palestinians have been killed by Zionist gangs while more than six million have been forced to become refugees.
During the debate, other speakers also expressed serious concern over violations of international human rights law in the occupied Palestinian territory.
They also expressed concern over forced eviction and displacement of many Palestinian families in East Jerusalem.
