Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said the economy has now got stabilized and its benefits have started reaching the people.

Talking to a private news channel, she said the international financial institutions are lauding the Prime Minister and his economic team for putting economy of the country back on track.

Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said Prime Minister is making all-out efforts to fulfill the promises that he made during the election campaign.

She said the incumbent government is trying to materialize its commitment of recovering the looted national wealth from the corrupt as is evident from recovery of 190 million pounds from a Pakistani family in Britain that would be repatriated to Pakistan.

Replying to a question, she said the opposition has been making tall claims of supremacy of the parliament, but it is not ready to support the government in this connection.
