The UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has rejected any form of ethnic cleansing in Gaza.

Talking to the UN committee meeting, he urged for upholding international law.

Reiterating the UN's full commitment to the inalienable rights of Palestinian people, Guterres called on the international community to work toward preserving unity and integrity of occupied Palestinian territory and recovery and reconstruction of Gaza.

Highlighting importance of the two-state solution, the UN Secretary General said, "a viable, sovereign Palestinian State living side-by-side in peace and security with Israel is only sustainable solution for Middle East stability."
